Mother-Daughter-Day

Mothers in Masiphumelele spend much of their time on work and their own affairs, not realizing the importance of spending time with their daughters (and sons).

We organized the Mother-Daughter Day to create a foundation for family communication. We hosted a picnic and guest speakers explained a lot about relationship and communication.
It is important to us that mothers and daughters understand how necessary it is talking to each other and building a friendly and loving relationship within the family.

The girls created flowers and wrote thank you letters to their mothers.
